Our range of accessories are made of stainless steel grade 316 (high strength and good corrosion resistance). These accessories are recommended for a dramatic enhancement to the overall product. Whereas they are more expensive than galvanised accessories they do pay back in style.

Stainless Steel Cable Packs:
Stainless steel cables are ideal if you are attaching to the house/post but want to stand the shade sail further away from the house. Also ideal if the turnbuckle/snap hook alone is not long enough.

Galvanised Steel Accessories:
The galvanised steel range are very hard wearing and do the job just as well as the stainless steel. The overall look is not as great although they are less expensive.

Nylon rope (6mm, 3 strand) sold per metre:
3 strand nylon - High durability nylon offering excellent shock absorption with good abrasion & UV resistance. The break load is 750kg.
Ideal if you are attaching to the house/post but want to stand the shade sail further away from the house or if the turnbuckle/snap hook is not long enough.

Recommendations:

To get the most out of your sail shade then the tighter you are able to stretch the sail shade the better and the strap tensioner will help to achieve this effortlessly.
We recommend using 2 snap-hooks and a turnbuckle per corner. Then the amount of pad eyes you will need depends upon how many poles you use (each pole comes with a suitable mounting point)
