The Waistcoat features an advanced battery operated heating system, which circulates gentle warmth around the body. Supplied with battery box, which features an on/off switch. When switched on, they will heat your jacket up in a matter of minutes with over a 3 hour hot time from good quality rechargeable batteries. This time can be dramatically increased if you only have them switched on for short bursts.
